Zia Chishti is the founder, chairman and CEO of SATMAP. Prior to founding SATMAP, Zia was the founding Chairman and CEO of Align Technology, a medical device technology company which he led from startup to over a $1 billion valuation on the NASDAQ. Zia also served in the mergers and acquisitions department of Morgan Stanley & Company in New York and London, and briefly served as a management consultant with McKinsey and Company in London.
Zia received his MBA from Stanford University and his BA from Columbia University where he majored in Economics and Computer Science and was a member of the varsity crew team. Zia is an avid skier and chess player.
As the Chief Scientist at SATMAP, Ittai Kan leads the company's artificial intelligence and statistics division which is responsible for algorithms that SATMAP uses to find the optimal pairings between callers and agents. Ittai’s team employs the latest techniques in queuing theory, neural networks, support vector machine, genetic algorithms, and other statistical, mathematical and computational tools together with proprietary algorithms specifically designed for the contact center world.
Ittai Kan received a B.S. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Mathematics (chaos theory) from the University of Illinois at Urbana. A series of academic positions followed including as Member of the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton and ending as a tenured Associate Professor of Mathematics at George Mason University where Ittai cofounded their Actuarial Program.
He then left academia for a series of positions in the financial services and consumer data and modeling industries, including Vice President of Product Design at Finetre Corporation, Director of Quantitative Analysis at Mortgage Harmony, and Senior Vice President of Research & Development at IXI Corporation.
Alain D. Bandle is the Chairman for SATMAP's European Operations. He is a trilingual (English, French & German) Executive with extensive global experience.
Prior to joining SATMAP, Alain has held leading positions at a number of companies including Procter & Gamble, Hewlett Packard, Swissair, Veba AG and Dell in Europe. As member of the Managing Board at Veba AG, he was responsible for the group's global telecommunication business where he acted as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of E-Plus and o-tel-o. Between 2001 and 2007, he was a member of the supervisory board at Austrian Airlines in Vienna.
More recently, Alain served as Vice President and General Manager Public Segment Europe at Dell, and was responsible for a sales volume of over 2.5 billion Euros.
Alain was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Versatel AG in 2009, which he repositioned and successfully sold to KKR in 2011.
In addition to his role as Chairman for SATMAP European Operations, Alain serves as Portfolio Non-Executive Director and Strategic Advisor to ITC companies. He is also a member of the Board at Kooaba, a leading company in image recognition.
Alain holds an MBA from the University St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he is a regular lecturer for their Executive MBA program.
Daniel Alcazar is the Managing Director for the Telecommunications vertical. In this capacity Daniel leads the acquisition and development of all major accounts from cultivation, contract execution through the coordinated on-going delivery of internal SATMAP team support. Current vertical performance highlights include delivering an incremental $50 million in annual revenue for a major MSO and $75+ million for a Tier-1 national wireless carrier.
Daniel brings over 25 years of marketing and sales leadership experience with three Fortune 500 corporations; RJR Nabisco, Sprint and Embarq. Immediately prior to joining SATMAP Daniel was the CMO for Embarq; led an all encompassing transformation of Embarq's marketing and sales strategies and produced $2.5 billion in annual revenue. Daniel is a Power 50 Marketer; Ad Age magazine.
Daniel received his MBA from Wake Forest University and his BA from Randolph-Macon College in economics.
Hassan Afzal is the Executive Vice President of Global Technology and Deployment. Hassan is responsible for worldwide SATMAP installations and professional services. Hassan also leads SATMAP's integration strategy with telephony vendor partners and oversees the SATMAP product support and technical sales support functions.
Hassan has been with the SATMAP team since its inception and has lead the SATMAP integration efforts with a range of technology platforms including Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, Aspect, Rockwell, Interactive Intelligence, Sitel and Stratasoft.
Hassan brings more than 20 years of experience in technical program leadership to SATMAP. Prior to joining the SATMAP team, Hassan held senior management positions with Deloitte Consulting, Commerce One and American Management Systems. At Deloitte Consulting, Hassan advised the CIOs of Fortune 50 companies on technology strategy, merger integration, and enterprise system implementations. As Senior Principal at American Management Systems (AMS), Hassan was responsible for the systems deployment function of AMS's Healthcare product offering. As Senior Director at Commerce One, Hassan was responsible for professional services engagements in the Oil and Gas sector.
Hassan holds a master's degree in information systems from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and economics from the University of Virginia.
Orlando Hampton is Executive Vice President of Client and Partner Services at SATMAP. In this role, Orlando provides the principal point of contact for clients and partners after initial technology deployment.
Prior to joining SATMAP, Orlando served as Senior Business Operations Manager at Chase where he was responsible for inbound and outbound sales performance for card service and for overseeing more than 2,000 employees in vendor operations in India, Philippines and South America. Orlando has also served as Vice President at Providian Financial where he managed telemarketing quality and training teams supporting outbound and inbound calling.
Bill Taylor is Managing Director, Europe and Executive Vice President, Global Insurance Solutions for SATMAP. Bill is responsible for driving new business in the insurance vertical across Europe and the US.
Prior to joining SATMAP in January 2010, Bill was Chief Operating Officer for Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance (RSA) where he had accountability for telephony sales and service across direct, intermediated, and broker businesses in the UK and outsourced partners in India.
Before RSA, Bill was Head of European Operations for American Express Europe managing front office telephony and back office processes for Consumer, Corporate and Merchant Operations including outsourced partners in India. Bill spent eighteen years with American Express across a range of departments including sales, reengineering, quality assurance and compliance.
Bill is a native of Daytona Beach, Florida is a past president of Ronald McDonald House and holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Nasser Mahmood is the Chief Financial Officer of SATMAP. Nasser has over fifteen years of managerial experience with multinational corporations in the field of finance, accounting, corporate law and taxation. He has been with SATMAP since inception and has played proactive role in financial planning, management and in setting up internal control processes.
Nasser joined SATMAP from Guerrino Pivato SpA. During his five-year tenure with Pivato, Nasser was responsible for Financial Administration, Planning, Corporate Restructuring and Supply Chain Management for ongoing projects. He has also served in the Assurance division of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was responsible for analysis and review of financial statements and accounting systems.
Nasser holds BS degree in Accounting and an MBA degree in Finance. He enjoys hiking, camping and traveling.
